LARGE STORAGE TRAY

Morning everyone,
Today, I’m sharing my latest DT project for Daisy’s Jewels and Crafts - Large storage tray. We have the smaller ones of these too, but this one is especially great to house soooooo many paints/glues/inks etc...
It was easy to decorate too, with some Graphic 45 papers and coordinating paint. I then finished off the edges, as always, with Pebeo black 4artist marker. Hope you like xx

STEAMPUNK TRIPTYCH

Morning all,
Today, I’m sharing my latest DT project for Daisy’s Jewels and Crafts - Steampunk Triptych. This is my last steampunk project for the steampunk month of May.
I used Daisy’s 3 plaques with joining holes, also referred to as a Triptych. I used a product called Tyvek, which I’ve had for a while, but totally forgotten I had lol. This is so fun to use! I painted it, then glued it to the already painted mdf. Then, using my heat gun, I melted the Tyvek. If you haven’t used this stuff before, I’d definitely recommend it!
I then coloured some greyboard clocks and cogs and arranged them on the frames.
For the inserts, I used Craft Box’s first paper collection ‘The other side’ These are stunning papers and the colours brought out the colours in the frame beautifully.
I joined the panels with TH mini book rings, to give it more urban/steampunk life ok. I hope you like it xx

INDUSTRIAL STEAMPUNK BOOK

Morning everyone,
Today, I’m sharing my latest DT project for Daisy’s Jewels and Crafts - Industrial steampunk book. This is the third part of my month of steampunk projects.
These Mdf storage books come in a pack of three, and this is the smallest of the set. Although it’s the smallest, it’s actually a really good size!
I decided I wanted to do an industrial design, so used a metal rivet effect embossing folder on some silver mirror for the outside of the book. I then wanted to make it look aged, so used some black paint over the top, then rubbed most of it off. The paint stayed on some parts and I love the results!
I added lots of greyboard cogs and clocks to give it the steampunk look. I hope u like it 😘 xxx
Products used:
Daisy’s set of 3 mdf books (small book)
Daisy mdf glue
Silver mirror card
Tim Holtz ‘riveted metal’ embossing folder
