Morning everyone,
Today, I’m sharing my samples for the Hochanda show, today, at 10am. Our theme is STEAMPUNK!
I’m so excited again, as I got to design this wonderful collection. I’m especially proud of my top hat! The DT have worked wonders with this. I hope you can all tune in at 10am to see everything. Our own DT, Jan Hill, will be demonstrating with Fiona Egan. Here are my samples xx

TRIO OF SKULLS
Morning all,
I hope u all had a lovely weekend.
Today, I’m sharing my trio of skulls which I designed for Daisy’s Jewels and Crafts Halloween collection. They come in three sizes, and are very easy to decorate. They have loads of detail engraved into the mdf, so u don’t need to do much in the way of decoration.
There is a small hole at the top of each one, so I decided to string all three together to make a hanging decoration. I hope u like xx
Products used:
Daisy’s mdf 3 x skull faces
Jute
Dina Wakley Media White & Ruby acrylic paints
Black Soot distress ink

HALLOWEEN HAUNTED HOUSE
Morning everyone,
I’m continuing my Halloween themed blog month with my haunted house. This was one of the samples on Hochanda, but I thought I’d show it in a bit more detail.
This is now available on the Daisy’s website.
I added a sheet of the new TH Halloween paper, one of the foiled ones, to reflect the light. I also added some of the Halloween paper dolls to the graveyard, and peeking through one of the windows.
The faux moss is the best to use as grass. I used a few elements from the grab bag too: gravestones and ghost.
The front of the house is done with the new 3D wood effect embossing folder from Tim Holtz, then coloured with distress ink. I hope you like xx

RIP
Morning everyone,
Today, I’m sharing one of my recent DT projects for Daisy’s Jewels and Crafts - RIP.
I was honoured to design the Halloween collection that was recently showcased on Hochanda. So, today I’m sharing my RIP creation. It’s a two part mdf set, consisting of the gravestone and base. These are so much fun to create! With mine, I used some texture paste to give some texture to both the base and stone. I then painted the stone in grey and the base brown. I used some faux moss as grass. I added a zombie hand from the recent Tim Holtz Halloween idea-ology collection, to make it look like a hand was coming out of the earth.
I added a few embellishments, such as the mdf fences, either side of the grass, and a die cut raven and rubber rats to finish it all off.
You can really go to town with these projects.
This collection sold out on Hochanda, so I know a lot of you bought one. I’d love to see what you create, so please share on our fan group on Facebook xx

HALLOWEEN HOCHANDA SNEAK PEEKS
Morning everyone,
I’m so excited for this blog today. Daisy’s Jewels and Crafts will be on Hochanda, tomorrow at 11am with our brand new Halloween mdf collection. Why am I excited? Because I designed the mdf for this collection, and couldn’t be more proud of the finished products.
I love Halloween, and designing this collection was so much fun. I wanted a creepy and scary theme running throughout, and feel that the samples carry that out perfectly.
I hope you can all tune in on, Saturday, 8th September, at 11am. Our very own Jan will be demonstrating the products, and Yiannis will be hosting.
Eeeeek, I’m beyond excited, so I hope you can all tune in to see the lovely products.
Here are my samples for the show xxx

FANTASY MDF STORAGE BOX
Morning all,
Today, I’m sharing my latest DT project for Daisy’s Jewels and Crafts - Fantasy mdf storage box. I made this using the 9 compartment storage box. This has been showcased on Hochanda a couple of times in the past, each with a different theme.
I chose to do a fantasy theme with this box, and as luck would have it, I’d just received the stunning 12x12 papers from Craft Box - “The Dreamer” featuring dragons, Phoenix, mermaids, fairies, and unicorns ❤️
I painted the compartments in two shades of blue, which I took from the colouring in the papers, then added the papers to the front, sides, and inside lid.
I added a few words to the outside. I hope you like xx
Products used:
Daisy’s mdf storage box
Daisy’s mdf glue
‘Lapis’ & ‘Ocean’ Dina Wakley media acrylic paint
Craft Box ‘The Dreamer’ paper pad
The Works wooden letters
Silver Pebeo 4artist marker

MDF DAD ALBUM
Morning everyone,
Today, I’m sharing my latest DT project for Daisy’s Jewels and Crafts - Mdf Dad Album.
I used one of the mdf albums from the Daisy’s Jewels and Crafts website. These are a lot of fun to decorate. I chose to cover the pages in “Wallflower” paper from Tim Holtz. I used some distress ink to darken the edges of the paper.
On one of the pages the papers had a few different bugs, so I decided to stamp a few extra from TH’s ‘Entomology’ stamp set, coloured them in, then used glossy accents to make them stand out more.
I added loads of metal embellishments from my stash, such as bees, dragonflies, butterflies, and even metal corners on each page.
I’ve hope I’ve given you some inspiration to create your own album xx
Products used:
Daisy’s mdf ‘Dad’ album
Daisy’s mdf glue
Daisy’s mdf birdcage
Daisy’s mdf words “Family”
Tim Holtz idea-ology “Wallflower” paper
Kraft and black card stock
Walnut Stain Distress Ink
Black Shadow Nuvo hybrid ink
Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous “Entomology” stamps
Candied Apple, Antique Linen, Squeezed Lemonade Distress markers
Self adhesive gems
Ranger Glossy Accents
Metal embellishments from stash
Lace
